Position Overview
The Insurance Sales Representative will complete assigned daily tasks, including reaching out to potential customers, following up on quotes, and answering insurance coverage questions. This role involves building relationships, identifying insurance needs, and helping clients understand suitable coverage options across life and health, business insurance, and personal lines such as auto and home.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete assigned daily tasks, including
- Calling potential customers to initiate conversations and generate opportunities
- Following up on quotes previously provided to prospects and customers
- Answer insurance-related coverage questions and provide clear, accurate information
- Discuss customers’ life and health insurance needs and help recommend next steps
- Discuss business insurance needs and guide customers toward appropriate coverage options
- Review and explain auto and home insurance needs, coverage options, and recommendations
- Maintain strong follow-up and documentation to ensure leads and quotes stay organized and moving forward
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to support shared goals and overall team performance
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to build rapport and listen to customer needs
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage daily activities effectively
- Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with prospects
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to shared success
- Prior sales experience preferred (insurance experience a plus, but not required)
Licensing
- Must be Property & Casualty licensed prior to hire; Life & Health licenses required within 30 days of hire

Compensation
- Base salary + commission
